CarAudio.com 1st annual Florida meet!

 

This meet will NOT be a dB drag event, however, we will have free TermLab metering courtesy of Shawn Fleming. Shawn will also be bring two 12" subwoofers of each line from Fi Car Audio.

 

When? Saturday, December 30th, 2006. We are aiming for noon, but people will be there earlier most likely. We will be grilling out, so bring whatever food/drinks you can... everything is free!

Hmm... Orlando wouldn't be too bad of a drive. Tampa I wouldn't mind either, but Orlando = 3 hours for me, Tampa = 4.

I'm 100% going and I can promise you I will have a TermLab by then. This meet would be great because I'd have my whole system finally done.

If a bunch of people show up... free metering!

In the recent event that the other thread for this got well over 100 pages i believe, this is a good point to start a more organized thread. So, we need details.

We want somewhere between orlando/tampa/holywood correct? I wouldn't mind a drive to tampa, or a little farther south, but would like to stick around 2 hours or less.

What Date? Obviously not new years or the day after.....we will all be hurting those days. What about December 30th?

Also, who can GAURUNTEE THEY WILL 100% BE THERE?!?! This doesnt need to be some 4 or 5 person meet when it could be a good solid 20 cars.

I can do hollywood, Tampa is kinda far for my car. Im about 1-1.5 hours south of Kenny

I don't really like Orlando because last time I went there I got caught doing 96 in a 70...

well, its either a LITTLE south (60-80 miles) of orlando, or orlando itself, or tampa.

hollwood wont happen, its completely to far for us up in central florida. We can do melbourne and you so fla guys can come up 95 the whole way it seems. MAYBE we could work out Vero Beach. Or sebastian.

I am flexable. Might I suggest a meet on the beach? Like around Ponce Inlet? I was just there earlier today and it would be a **** good spot for a big meet. Either that or Clearwater. Everyone loves the beach.

skmfkr, i bet someone would house u in the orlando area. also, were thinking clearwater is suitable for everyone. Anyone disagree let us know. Sorry for th Miami guys, but this seems to be the "nicest" area, and the one that could have the best turn out, hope you can make it. If not, suggest somewhere else.

I figured that if we got something goin on the beach....it would make for good fun and games, barbeques and whatever else you may want. And excellent photo opps too.
