the extra 150-200? you mean extra 300-350. you could get 2 brahmas for that almost, 7 type r's, 13w7, 2 AQ HD's, 3 orion H2, 2 SX 18, a MT, with money for a amp..... look at the possibilities with 700 bucks....... this sub better blow the lid off my trunk.... o well ill just have to see

How is it so **** hard to get through yalls thin *** skulls that is quite possibly is LESS than that 700 price tag some random kid thats never heard of re till this sub was made threw about the internet in all the right places. shit. i dont get it. david personally said prices will be around 150 more than the old. and for that.....id buy a single 10 for 500 - 550 if its as amazing as its rep............then again it could be complete shit.

I could think of alot of reasons why the wouldnt come out with something on the unofficial predited date of release when trying to put together 3 new lines...2 of which looked to have required pretty extensive development..

xbox 360 pushed ahead of the sony release date just for marketing sales and yet have had tons of problems. PS3 is taking there time and i bet it wont be quite nearly as bad as problems are concerned.

a 12" xxx was about 370, correct? so 470-520

MSRP for the XXX will not be $600. Direct price will be more than that.$700 for the XXX from an authorized dealer is a great deal.

I dont think anyone realizes how monstrous this sub really is.

Because it makes me mad that AS A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS they shouldnt say anything until there are even close with an estimate. Xbox said they would have their new product out around Christmas time...what happened, it came out around Christmas time...THE SAME YEAR... yes there were faults...but they fixed them, and have now re-released them still within a reasonable time...but hey, its only a computer....

no no, I COMPLETELY understand wher eyour're coming from...there is no point in releasing a product until its perfected...or **** near close. BUT...then dont say its coming out soon if you really have no idea, and it just SEEMS close. Man I didnt even hear about this sub until like july/August....then they said "new one around thanksgiving" THENNNN i found out that it was supposed to be released before I even heard of the thing, which was in like march/ april of 05'. I almost ordered 2 of them back in November....you know how pissed off I'd be if I had...and still been waiting for them because the rep on the phone said in a few weeks!.

Look at the picture. I can't speak for anyone but me, but it tells me this:

"We put the spider up really high and put a lot of open space in the basket for easy recones."

"We disregarded a pole vent so it could cool like an MT"

IMO, this is not the XXX. It's not a big brother to the XXX. It's a vamped MT on steroids after drinking the Jekyl/Hyde serum at midnight. I think it was designed to outperform an MT so well that it easily justifies the extra money over an MT. The XXX itself was probably replace with the smaller MX line, which has gotten almost no attention.

Psh, you've never seen the 18" Aura. =) Desertheat showed me a picture and reminded me of it. Displacement wise, it would give an MT or a Tumult a run for their money, while it looks like a scaled Extremis or a Funky Pup with a hardon.

AURA 18 is a nice sub

i heard one personally a few years ago and omg.it got loud and the lows was tremendous

it has a nice basket and a cute little neo-magnet

i hope the mx will have similar results...they have neo mags as well

Remember this? It sold for $50+shipping. $50 + shipping!!!! Everyone makes a big deal about the Tumult, Brahma, XXX, MT, SS's super sub, the Mag, AA's stuff, IA DP/Warden, but when Aura sells one of the best performing woofers on the planet for a fraction of the price, nobody cares. God people are stupid. I would have killed to have that woofer, if I had known what it was capable of back then I would have taken a small ****ing loan to get it.

First Id just like to say....WTF to RE....friggin tell us like 10 months ago that its pretty much ready....or at least that rumor got out somehow and it was said for a whiiiiile that it would be in the 500 dollar range, and no more....whatever, dont say anything unless its true and official. I almost put down a payment in October for 2 of these, hearing that they would be out almost for sure by Thanksgiving....I would have been PIIIIIISSED! Ive gone through 2 other systems since then, and I would have still been waiting for this thing...come on.


The main difference here, is when you get the Beamer...your not just looking for power...your looking at the rest of the car with it.....Everyone, or almost everyone looking for the XXX is looking for power.

Look whats happening to the W-7 now...more of the General public is being told about all these other private companies, because they have products that are just as good, for A LOT cheaper prices.

Weren't they taking down payments or making or reservation list, in jan. last year?I think it was at CES or some other show........
