no , its RE because no matter what the price people are still going to f'n buy them, it doesnt matter. 600-900 its all the same for the people who can afford them, now if it was 400 or so then maybe people like me would buy them, but if it costs THAT much to make, eh.......... for 700 plus say 50 shipping, you will be able to get 2 used 04 XXX 15's , now if it can beat out 2 04 XXX 15's on say a 2500D, then ill be ****ing impressed..... untill i see specs, or it in action, or reviews. or something, im not paying anything close to 700

It isnt just about getting loud, its about SQ and getting loud in a small ammount of space efficently...when a single new XXX 12 can get as loud as an old XXX 15 with 1/2 the box size and about the same power... it is worth the extra $150-$200 over a new old one.

Im not saying a new 12 will be able to do that because i personally have no idea, but IF it can the extra money is MORE than worth it...plus the pure *** of 40mm + one way XMAX not Xmech or Xsus...XMAX, which means with proper power in a decent enclsoure it WILL be able to move that far in most anyones daily set up.

It isnt just about getting loud, its about SQ and getting loud in a small ammount of space efficently...when a single new XXX 12 can get as loud as an old XXX 15 with 1/2 the box size and about the same power... it is worth the extra $150-$200 over a new old one.

the extra 150-200? you mean extra 300-350. you could get 2 brahmas for that almost, 7 type r's, 13w7, 2 AQ HD's, 3 orion H2, 2 SX 18, a MT, with money for a amp..... look at the possibilities with 700 bucks....... this sub better blow the lid off my trunk.... o well ill just have to see

People drop 700 for a w713 all year round, another 700 for a 1000/1.... then another 400 for 2 layres of dynamat extreme all over their car. Then another 300 on componets and 200 on a componet amp, then 500 on an Alpine CD player... like money is a problem, they will sell and if they can justify that SURELY something with better performance can be justified.

Im not saying its worth 700, im saying we need to hold up on specualtion to wether or not 700 is worth it or not.

How does RE sell MT's with no T/S Params avalable...they certianly fly like hot cakes.

How does DD justify over $1,000 for a 9900 series?

How does Adire justify 6,000 bottom end for a dipole driver with output no better then what a couple of $500 woofers in a large enclosure and a powerful amp cant produce.
