Can you explain why his amp has to be .5 ohm stable? can't he wire them in series and us a 2ohm stable amp? please explain your reasoning?

Becasue the power that a hdc4 needs at 2k will cost a crazy amount..and for around 600 used he can get a aq3500 which does 2400 at 2 ohms and the ability to do 5k @.5 ..so ur alpines for 700 is not very logical..esp when they have no flexability to drop to .5 or even 1 ohm sometimes
