new wiring and 2nd battery FTW!

looks like a pretty old primary battery there homie
Actually, its not that old at all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Maybe 7-8 months MAX. Even then, i can always just take it back to walmart for a brand new one. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

had a buddy do the same thing, wire some how made its way in to the fan. but you know what you are doing.
more pics!
Its dark out!!

Besides, the rest of it is a mess anyways. lol

It's not worth my time to make the inside wires look all organized and whatnot. Maybe if i'm REALLY ambitious.

Taking all the old wire out, putting the 2nd battery in and getting it all mounted. Measuring out 4 runs of wire, getting them cut up, putting ring terminals on the ends that needed them (that took a WHILE) and then getting them all strapped in. Measuring and cutting the wires to hook up both batteries, and again putting ring terminals on those.
Imagine running wire through your car and getting it all hooked up, then doing it 3 more times. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Not to mention adding the 2nd battery.
Easy to imagine, ive reran mine 4 or 5 myself. Dont feel bad about the fuse, i have exactly...none. x2 for the taking forever bit. I spent most of last weekend drilling my *** off, and ran my garage, and the shop completely out of 1/0 connectors.

That's why i took the saf(er) route this time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There will be some fuses/circuit breakers between the two batteries eventually too. Just ran out of money for now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I did have to sacrifice part of my air intake though.

Oh well.

The things we do to get those extra tenths of a db. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

What happend to the Z71?
If by Z71 you mean the silverado (its not a z71), it's sitting in the driveway. Patiently waiting to be torn apart. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
