new unit Kenwood or Alpine

Upgrading from stock non-jbl head unit in 2007 4runner

Need:

double din

full ipod control

prefer front usb and aux connections

rca output into "little" alpine amp mounted under dash

Want to stay with Alpine or Kenwood & under $400.

Will upgrade front speakers 6 1/2 inch componets next time...probably Hertz $250 limit

What You guys say is the HU for me......please

My first Kenwood didn't last me very long, I'm happy with my Alpine (single din btw), much more over the kenwood.

Yeah, I just wouldn't buy another one because of the one I had!

Have you looked at the Alpine IVE-W530

changed into a Pioneer mode.

I bought a Pioneer X3600BT..............so far I am happy

it does everything I need and I found out the front usb and aux-in is a mute point.

Now I just open the glove box and plug the ipod in and go

PLUS I can watch a movie while my wife shops...........win-win
