New to the forum. Questions about RE audio.

I'm looking to get my girlfriend a decent system for her 08 accord.

I have a Jl audio A6450 amp and I was wondering if the RE audio re 6.5 component would go good together. Also are these speakers good? Out of all the reviews they seem really good, but I thought I would still get more opinions on them. Thanks.

Get what u like bro. Get ready here comes the rush of people to tell you what is and is not better then the re's.. Your ears man buy what sounds good to you. If you can get them at a good price snag them up and let us know what you think..

I bought the RE components for my dads trike, they get pretty loud and sound decent. However that's a completely different setting than yours.

I've never heard them before. I just found out about them because my brother said he liked the subs.

Component speakers are a very personal preference type of thing. What one person might think is ideal, another might think sounds bad. For this reason I usually recommend people try their best to listen to the comp set they are interested in, or at least realize they may or may not like them, no matter what anyone has told them.

he means just like holic said above. I might like the way my speakers sound but you may hate them. So unless u can go hear them in person be prepared to not like what u buy. Sometimes a shoot in the dark is worth it and you come back with a gem then again sometimes you come back broke and upset. A good eq can almost make any type of speaker sound good to you. But nonetheless..

I also think that by a different 'setting' he meant the speakers are going to sound a whole lot different in a person's car than they do in the open space of a trike.
