new to car audio/systems need to see if works

Ok so, all my friendsand such are getting systems in their car and I have always enjoyed how it sounds. So i have decided to try to get a good one for a low price.. ive pretty much picked everything out but i need to know if this setup will work:

the amp:

i really like the specs of the sub but if you guys can find a better or less costly box or amp, ill take any suggestions... anyways, can any one tell me if this setup will work to get the peak 2400watts out of that sub?

u def wont get 2400 watts out of it lol...that pyramid amp might put out 500 watts rms......build your own ported box.....and get a type r 12.....will preform better for the same price shipped

That amp is not all the watts it claims to be, never heard the sub and do not get a prefab box.....talk to people on here who know alot and they will help you, you can get so much better for your money just be patient and take time to learn im still doing that.

Yeah the amp you can do way better for that price werent the directed 1100ds around there at one point?

not really... anything under 350 total and as long as it sounds good

You just lookin for a single sub setup? 8,10,12,15 what size? are you looking for sound quality or to get loud?

i want to get loud one. a single cause i got a very small car (mustang coupe) and i guess the largest i can get is 12 cause 15 wouldnt fit?

I would say a Kicker cvr and maybe a 600.1 and a ported box would get failry loud and probably satify you and if you have any experience with wood working you could build you a box. All this around 350ish

single 10 187, orion 600d (if can find one) and box by jalverson or moe. or build it yourself.
