new to car audio stuff

I understand haw to wire subs to an amp. Right now im working on upgradign stock speakers to aftermarket ones. I have a 2001 honda civic. Im gonna have 4 ohm speakers that are rated for 75 watts a speaker. I was wondering how do i wire them to an amp at 4 ohm, and i need to find a amp to power the speakers also. I also need to find some componet speakers that are 6.5 for the front which for some reason i cant find. For the rear 6x9 i have some Pioneer TS-A6993R 6-Inch X 9-Inch, 460-Watt 5-Way Speakers. that run 80 watts a speaker rms.

Get a 4 channel amp and power all your speakers. And being its a civic I'm.guessing its got 6.5" in the doors. Components are easy to find. There is a few for sale in the classifieds

well im looking for a couple of componet speakers to reccomend to look at and a 4 channel amp that is good for runnign speakers.

What's your budget lookin like for amp and speakers?

Not sure yet i was thinking like 150 dollars for a set of speakers and 100-200 for an amp.

I'm assuming your trying to keep it on a budget while sound good right?

yeah i want quality sound. My budget is not set so if something is a little more then budget then its k.

lanzar makes good budget components (i had vx6c's for a few years, cheap and took gobs of power). also rear speakers are either 6x9 if you have a coupe or 6 3/4 if you have a sedan. As for an amp, IMO try and find a rockford p400-4 or t400-4. They fit great on the back of the rearseat since they are small amps, but pack big power.

I think i found a decent amp its an infinity 475a 4 channel amp. think a good choice
