new to car audio! looking to buy a system

Hey guys, I'm looking to get my first sound system put into my car.. have a '94 accord 2 door (such little room)

anyways, my friend is selling this:

3 10inch JL W0 Subs, 2 TR350-CXi High range speakers and 2 TR400-CXi mid range speaker all powered by a Zapco 350 AG Series Amp with a in a Non Ported box.

Not entirely sure if itll fit, but anyways, hes asking $550 for the set.. is this good/bad? I'm sure its negotiable. Also, would that system run just fine?

Someone mentioned something about needing an additional amp for the subs.. is it necessary? To my knowledge everything in the car is stock. I'm not looking to blow everyones ears off! just something that sounds nice

w0's arnt worth alot.... and it matters what version JL's

but even if they were the new models i wouldnt pay that much

you are going to get 500 different opinions on what to get... for 500 bucks you can really get some good setups BRAND NEW with warranty... JL is a good brand but overpriced and a little overrated... Kicker is tried and true.. Decently priced... good warrantys.. and a good brandfor someone just getting in.. You could get a couple cvr's and a good amp , install kit, and box for well under 500.. just my 2 cents
