New to Car audio forum, looking for help on first build

so am i going to be getting bass not from just the sub but the speakers with this setup also?
You will get midbass and midrange frequencies out of them.

It should break down like this

Frequencies up to about 60-80 Hz play through the sub.

60-80 Hz to 3-4kHz will go through the mids (depending on where you set the filters on the amps and how the crossover on the comps is built.)

3-4kHz and up will play through the tweets

what are those canisters with the digital screen with numbers and stuff on the amp or sub for?
Those are capacitors. They are a largely useless piece of equipment that acts as a bandaid for an electrical system that is incapable of properly powering the equipment. They really do more harm than good

I dunno these are some good deals, orians? or the setup Hintzyboy put together? stick with orginal plan? Everyone has brought up good points, definitely learned some good shit here, but not that i know all this its really made me think a lot more about what i wana get now i gues the decisions gonna be more difficult since i got way more info to deal with now lol. Any more suggestions? Like i said i wanna a great sound system but i began my interrest with audio systems because i wanted a nice sub and amp to power it i guess though i want a balanced thing at the same time so i dunno haha. i shold keep my stock speakers kick it with my 6's? lol...yeah def gona put somet thought into all this

orion amps are the shit ask anyone and my sub is a very will built sub. the owner of AQ who makes my sub, his son owns DD which is one of the top subs. my setup wil b very nice and amongs the lines with the big dogs:) iw as gon run it. but goin diff route

Here's how I would decide:

If bass is more important, go with the Orions and the HDC3, and then we can help you pick some comps in your budget.

If you want something more balanced that sounds better, go with my suggestions. You'll get better sound, and you will have more money to spend on stuff like deadening and whatnot. The money will be more evenly distributed.

So can i use the same components and speakers in that setup Hintzyboy

had? and combine it with ur setup? or do u have any speakers u could link me

wow u sayin my orion and HDC3 wont sound good? lol..
Not necessarily. However, a 2500w amp and a sub made with SPL in mind tend to make the system a little less balanced. Especially since buying those will only leave him $225 for an HU and front speakers. Definitely more of a bass-heavy setup.

btw my money is coming from the BAR junking my old camry 1990 for 1000 bucs yeeeeahh haha so i got some extra cash laying around so its not strictly 1000. btw if anyone in the San Diego area or around it is willing to help me out with building abox or putting my system together thatd be great message me or wutever

if u want ungodly bass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif u buy my shit leaves u wit 250 dollars for a headunit and door speakers. might have to spend a ltitle more for box and wiring but hey ur system wil b BANGIN! and all good *** shit. y waste that much money on shit he wil wanna upgrade in couple months wen he can have the shit he WILL wanna upgrade to? just my opinion only spend ur money once not twice

If you think any of the stuff I listed is even close to shit, you are severely undereducated. Everything I listed is top-notch stuff, it just focuses on a different aspect of audio.

Just because you have something to gain here doesn't mean other suggestions are less worthy.

Once again, it depends on what he decides his goals are. Why buy SPL-skewed equipment if you're trying to build a nicely balanced system?

im jus tryna help him save money cuz WE ALL KNOW if he buys that in a couple months hes gonna want louder. so y not just started wit LOUD is all im sayin cuz tryna re sell that stuff he wil get shit for it so ya dont matter to me he sent me a message askin bout my stuff which is why i tuned in so relax:) ya i got somthin to gain by sellin it but he has somthin to gain by gettin it. look at the prices im givin him a good deal not like im tryna rip him off
