It depends on a variety of things. So, is it the bigger the box, the more rise your getting? or the length of the wire?
Yup, completely different for each vehicle/box/driver... etc, etc, etc...It depends on a variety of things.
The subs, enclosure, vehicle, etc.
Resonant frequency of the vehicle can play around with pressure levels inside the box/outside the box is one of the factors.but why vehicle?
So really, wiring an amp (thats stable to 1ohm) to .5ohms is nothing big, right?
Because after rise, your most likely going to be at 1ohm or higher
Not necessarily, when a subwoofer drops below tuning... impedance rise is inverse... meaning it'll shoot HARDCORE down towards dead short.but why vehicle?

You are stupid.this ***** ass. i cant even get the ratec power out of a $600 amp.
Obviously you don't understand. So therefore you are an ignorant dumb ass.you're nobody to be calling me stupid you ****ing ****
Your all ignorant dumb asses //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifObviously you don't understand. So therefore you are an ignorant dumb ass.

Accidentally fried a modded MTX1501d playing @.175 this way... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Not necessarily. A sub can bottom out from over-excursioning. ONE way to overexcursion a sub relatively easy is to attempt to play it loudly well under what the box is tuned to. It unloads and acts as if it is not in a box at all (or less like it, depends on how far below the tuned frequency you are).Really? that can happen when the sub bottoms out, right? If a sub bottoms out, it means your playing it lower than it's tuning, is that right?
