^^**what amp for 2 12" trype rs dual 2ohms ? **^^

i would suggest a good 4 channel that you can bridge into 2 channel @ 4 ohm.

or a good mono block that is rated to push most it's wattage @ 2ohms.

i believe a lot of alpine's mono blocks are 2 ohm stable

Cool so maybe do a search for a 4ch amp and look and see if it is bridgeable? How can I tell if it is or not?

I dunno, can you break it down more for me, I am audio retarded.

well, there's probably not many powerful 4 channels... well not enough to push 2 type Rs.

maybe two 2 channels? most amps would state if they're bridgeable or not in their specs.

or maybe you can just save up for a nice mono block

or trade your subs for 2 Dual 4ohms.

hmmmmmmm, I guess Im gonnna have to run my p6002 for now and save up for a "nice mono". Like what, a 2000w mono amp that can be bridged into 2 right?

what about a....

2,500 watt Mono Block Car Amp Class D New Boss gt2500d

Class D Monoblock power amplifier

Max Power 2500 watts

1,500 watts rms at 2 ohms

900 watts rms at 4 ohms

signal to Noise 100db

Variable Low Pass Crossover (50hz-150Hz)

Subsonic filter 15Hz-40Hz

Phase Shift

frequency Response up to 150Hz

Input Sensitivity up to 8 volts

Fuse Rating 3x25 Amps

Dimensions 9 5/16" x 2 3/16" 12.5" long

RCA line output for hooking up multiple amps

Phase Selector

Remote (Wired) subwoofer Level Control

???

would that work?

Will it work... probably... will it be the best,... no where near it... May want to go with 2 Directed 750d's from ikesound.com a little out of price range (20 bucks) but would get the job done... With 2 dual 2 ohm woofers you are looking at either a .5 ohm load or a 2 ohm load when wired together. BUT if you run them on seperate amps, you can get a 1 ohm load from each and run 1 amp for each sub, plus it would 'look' cooler (because looks mean everything in audio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif) I know there are probably better amps out there, but I knew of those 750ds at ikesound so that is why I mentioned them.. A pretty decent deal imo, and a decent amp for the money imo.... they will give you 600 watts per woofer.

My brother is running the exact same subs with a Kicker ZX 1000.1 and it sounds pretty good.Birthsheet says 1,289 watts @ 2 ohms.

You can get that amp pretty cheap on E-bay.
can you hear the car coming on the street?

Nah it ain't that loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifYou can hear me though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
