Front Amp: Cadence TXA-3004 (bridged 300x2)

Sub Amp: Cadence TXA-3002 (bridged 600x1)

Gonna have 2 runs of 0G to the back one for pos and one for gnd. Grounding to battery. Distro block to two runs of 4G to the amps and then 4G grounds to distro to the neg on battery. Red top under the hood.

not sure on the HU yet. I want something that has a decent EQ but dont want to go over 250 for it. Ive been looking at Pioneer decks. the 8000BT and 6000UB looked alright. what do you guys think?

I'm getting to the point to where I'd rather own a Kenwood or Panasonic than a Pioneer HU - crazy huh?

I'm not a HUGE fan of those amps, but they're decent.

No reason, in any way shape or form, to run a full posi and full nega 1/0 run through that car. Run one posi 1/0 to the back and then use a short 1/0 to ground to the chassis. Save yourself some cash, if you like.

the amps i already have so ill def be using them. I was considering doing the short gnd wire. but my current setup gets alot of engine whine. Would grounding directly to the battery help with this?

It can. Just re-ground somewhere else with a better ground.

Ground/rcas either one could cause engine whine. A few other things as well.

Get a good 3-4ft ground and you'll be fine - just make it a decent one.

Whats your budget? What are you looking for? Navi/Just CD Player? What?

CD only. perks are nice but not necessary. USB input is a plus. Blue lighting if im being picky. Preferably more than a 3 band EQ. if it has a 3 band I would need to get an in dash EQ. could put that in later though.

dont want to break 250 mark.

Also I am a BB employee so check out their selection please. I would get about 30-40% off any of their decks.

You can find a used Pioneer 880 for that price, I'm sure.

I like the 880prs

Xcelon HU would work well for you as well, but the Pioneer has your little blue lights, 7 or 9 band EQ(I THINK???), 4v pre-outs and dedicated subw control

ive always liked panasonic HU's and i also i wouldnt bother running 1/0 neg, i did it but im running alot more power then you,
