i am in the market for a new system. subs and box. i have an amp and if i dont have to get rid of it id be happy. 10s or 12s any help. im tired of stuff that lasts until the warrenty is over.

post what amp you have and its' specs since you want to keep/use that. also budget for subs would help, and system goals.

its a mtx 6500. it says d technology.

i have 2 mtxs but they sound horrible. i like loud but also want something that hits hard. sq is good.

is that amp 1ohm stable do you know? if not, on that amp i'd just get one decent sub and run it at 2ohms. if you have the room for a 15" a maw15 would work very well with that power.

i listen to alot of country and thats part of the problem im haveing with my 7500s its mushy its not tight and it doesnt hit as hard as i think it should

. could the 15 hit with country and if i built a sealed box could my mtxs hit harder?

i found a set of RF hx2s in a box. are these diecent? woth 200 with an amp and 2 6x9s and 2 dome tweeters?

those hxs' are nice subs. but i'd forget the 6x9s' and get a nice set of components for the front and a 2 channel amp for them.

well i just got an email and he sold them. i havent had much experiance with car audio. im 16, all i have had are 10 inch fosgates,10 inch mtxs, and 12 inch mtxs. i liked the fosgates but i burned them up. i like to listen to my music loud. but nothing seems like its enough. if i sell my 7500 without a box to get something new what would be a fair price?
