I was thinking about geting a Alpine MRP-M450 amp and 2 pionner TS-W301R 12" subs How do you think this would sound someone told me that 2 12" xplods would sound better is this true I plan on putting them in a selead box. I have a sony CDX4000 head unit and a set of pionner 6X9s I want to get a set of 5.25 compont speakers up front what would be a good budget set and could I use my 1600 watt cuspid to power the 6x9s and the componts because I know it is way under rated

also wondering a kid I know gave me a set of sony componts but they are missing the crossovers my question is do I need high and low pass crossovers or just low pass will the tweaters sound bad if I dont have a bass blocker on them

Please, do yourself a favor, and don't get sony subs. Those pioneers will be much much better for you. That is a nice amp you are looking at. Alpine amps are solid. Take a look at some Polk audio db's for your 5 1/4 componants. They sound great and are reasonably priced.

also wondering if I will need a amp for componts if I get them or can my HU power them my HU is powering my pionner 6X9s fine if I need a amp can I get by with using my cuspid I know it is shitty but would it power my componts and 6x9s
