Which way to face subs???

Right now I have my subs facing the back of the car and there is a lot of bass. I am just wondering if I have it face towards the front and have rear seats down which one would be louder or have the better sound quality?

Just trying to get an idea before I go do this cause I have a huge box in my probe... Also its a hatch back so some input would be sweet...

Set up is 2 12inch alpine type R's, Hifonics 1500, and my box is ported with 4 cubes tuned at 32 HZ...

subs and port both back or sub up port back will probably be loudest, facing them towards you in a hatch doesnt always sound too great

Yea I was just wondering since you would think all the bass would come right at you.
