The bottom of the seat is not rigid its just cloth, imagine laying a t-shirt on top of the box, thats what it sounds like really doesnt affect it too much. The box is around 0.7 ft^3 per sub. ya the respirator is for fiberglassin, i finished the molds but havent actually done much else.

yea, those woofers look a little too close to the seat for comfort. mine are upfiring ported with the woofers countersunk. i think you will ahve much better results downfiring in that particular truck, as long as the box is sealed. i have an 05 silverado ext cab. i have tried so many different boxes in it that its not even funny. these trucks are really touchy with box designs.
