New system i have some questions

Im looking into getting 2 12W6v2's and was wondering about what box to get and what you thought about powering them with a Crunch GP2500D amp? Ive heard good things about the amps but i wasnt sure if they were good with the W6's. I was also wondering what kind of box i should get, i currently have a carpeted, wood, dual 12" box that house my JL 12W3v2's right now, but im not sure theyd even fit into it and besides that its a real cheap box. Also with my old setup with the 2 JL 12W3's powered by a Directed 600D, my headlights dim, ive already replaced my alternator once, and my battery gets super corroded, so i was wondering if i would need to make any adjustments with battery power or using caps, i dont know anything about caps. I have a stock electrical system and have recently replaced the alternator, but im sure it was a stock alternator, so i was also wondering how my car would hold up with a powerful amp. Id appreciate any help, thanks.

run 1/0 guage wire if you havnt all ready. dont get the cap get anouther battery. kinetic, deka, power master... for the box, im sure there is someone around in your area that would be more than happy to build a box for you

Easy there fella....... Didn't you just say you blew the coil in one of those jl subs?

Get a box made to the specs of your subs

You do not need a cap. If you go with the 2500D, maybe a decent battery up front and in the rear. I would suggest a high output alternator, but some may not.

Read up on the big 3 upgrade and do it.

Yea ive ready about the BIG 3 and all that, im not really to sure how to do it myself though. I did just blow a voice coil but im really not sure how?? I had some older JLs i banged for like 3 years, and then i got a new pair of W3's less than a year ago and it blew, what causes that exactly?

Also, if i were to just get the W6's for now, i could put them in my old box with the Directed 600D correct? They will be underpowered but at least until i can get a new amp and box? I dont want to blow another coil so i guess i need to figure out why that happened as well, please help!
