Also if u do get dimming, do the big 3. If that doesnt help try a new batt. And if u still get some, u might need a new alt. U should be fine if ur only running like 1500 but u might have some problems

i wouldnt, youll loose sq and it will be louder at certain frequencies, quieter at others
