New system-- got rid of solo barics- pic of install- iso baric design

hey, heres what happend, i heard the solo barics and they sounded like ***....so i got rid of them and got 4 Polk DX 12's the sound quality is great, and im still hiting 143's with no dynomat, capisitor, and a shitty head unit. if i get a new head unit and cap and dynomat i should be mid-high 140s easy, anyways...what do you guys think of it? heres a pic of it.. its a iso baric design, so you only see 2 subs, the other 2 are directly behind those facing them, and the back 2 are wired backwards so the subs do a push pull kinda thing. what do you think--- thanks

Looks good. Why would a capacitor have any affect on your SPL levels?

not sure, i was told that a cap would make everything run better, guess i just assumed spl. anyway... thanks guys, sorry for the quality of the pic, had to reduce to fit the limit on here. anyway... i was thinkin maybe some neons, hehe..c ya

yeah a cap. won't really effect your spl not dynamat if you get it on the other hand definetly will but only if you use a lot. if you use like 1 sheet of it per door that won't do a lot but if you layer it then you'll get a nice amount of spl increased due to that. i used 3 or 4 layers of dynamat in the actual panels of my doors, and about another 2 layers on the actual plastic panels. i highly recommend it, there is a lot of other stuff out there very much like it just 1/2 the price.

basically isobaric just cancel's out 2 of the 4 subs he's using or so i've been told.

Isobaric was used back in the day before the new "small box" drivers came in to being. The idea is when isobariclly (sp) loaded the drivers only needed half of the required enclosure volume. But you don't gain any extra output by using the extra driver(s).
