you ll want to steer away from the jvc, and i d go for the pioneer, it looks f***ing great, and the options are limitless...

btw, do get rear speakers if you want to hear some midbass, not just 12" sub bass

as for the rears, i run a pair of infinity reference 813i 8"s, and i love em

i would suggest an adire audio shiva set for subs...they sound awesome and have alot of low end output needed in a convertable http://www.adireaudio.com 125 dollars each... far as fronts go if you have a good compenent set you dont NEED rear fill at all..simple set would be a set of cdt briaxials if tyou have stock door speakers these will just pop in...also think about a good amp to power these would suggest at least a jbl 80.2
