New System and Custom Work!?

I'm putting a new system together and this is the latest decisions:

AVN 6610 / Head Unit

2 Alpine Type R 12" / Subs

Clarion DPX1800 / Subs Amp

Arc Audio Foose FD6000 / Components

Clarion APX 2180 / Components Amp

I am getting the dash modified in fiberglass to fit the double din HU. Painted.

A center console done in MDF / Fiberglass will hold the 2 downfiring subs, CB, cupholders and such that will stretch all the way to the dash. Painted and Wrapped.

Door Panel pods will cover the entire lower third of the door. Wrapped.

Do I have the subs and components paired with the proper amps?

Also, a local audio store quoted me at $1800 for this install. Is that a good price? I am going to buy all the speakers, subs, and amps seperate online.

So everything will total right around $4200.

My truck is an '01 Dodge Dually. The head unit area is 1.5 din. I'll get a pic up soon.

The weather change from summer/winter in my area will make the fiberglass crack.. maybe not right away but it will..

A plastic welder is a torch that can weld plastic.. I Got a Snap-On Kit

you use a plasctic rod to join the 2 parts..
