New Sub Search??

Well I've had my eclipse TI 15 for about a year now, and I wanna either get a new sub that isn't D2 so I can run my amp at its full power, or maybe upgrade my amp for this sub? I just wanted some people's opinion on what I should do

if it is d2 isnt it wired to 1ohm final load to get that 1500 out of the amp?
