Pioneer Subs? SQ? SPL? ...TSW307D4 and TSW1207D4

What do you guys think about these subs? And is there a difference between the regular ones and the "Premier" series ones? They have exactly the same specs but the Premiers are $5 more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I'm only looking to get about 800rms... These will be going into my MR2. I'm not looking to spend a lot on my audio setup. ~$60 per sub is about where I want to be. Power will come from a Profile AP2000 960rms x 1 @ 4ohms.

I dont know anything about the subs, but i know the premier line has a better warranty than the pioneer line. At least with the head units it is. Might as well spend the extra 5$ and get a better warranty.

But I think you only get that warranty if you buy from an authorised dealer. Which I am fairly sure millionbuy isn't.

Yeah maybe. I have a friend who had a premier deck that he bought used. Something went to hell on it ( i dont remember what ) and he send it back, they still covered it with the warranty.

so? the subs good?... Would they compare to an Alpine Type S? Cerwin Vega HED? JLw1?

How would you rate them for my application?

They are superb if your looking for a budget sub. Honestly I dont think you can do any better for the price. I have no experience with the Cerwin vega you mentioned but the Type S and JLw1 are not even in the same class as far as output. Those pioneers' will shred them to pieces.

i've been doing LOTS of research here on the forums and every else on the net. i'm at the brink of placing my order with millionbuy. i think i'm sold on the premiers. i don't really see anything else that could compare to the premiers (in my setup ofcourse)... except maybe for the kenwoods but those got only mediocre reviews.

They're nice subs... the previous model(306) was better but it is still a very nice sub for the price.

i just ordered 4 12" TS-1207D2 premieres already have a mint hifonics 1606D waiting as well as a nice kicker 0 gauge kit for big 3. 200 amp alt soon box i built is 6 cubic foot tuned 32 hz. should be a good daily driver better than my 2 cvrs on orion 600d.
