New Stereo Integrity Mag / BM Proto Pictures!

yeah sorry level 5 haha i made a mistake i meant level 4..

rd cs is a joke well sometimes ceos tent to focus first on the products then on the shipping them for reviews.

just to let you know that i dont have anything agains you man. but i see that you talk greatness of sundowns/si and try to lower other brands like find something of x company to bash them for x reason.

to me they went for looks over performance...
or maybe they were thinking of making a sub more affordable(if they lower the price) and be in LARGE quantities, by that i understand is better to get bigger flashy baskets instead of a bigger motor with greater performances because they will cut down the cost of the motor tooling and they will save even more with those kinds of baskets buy alot more quantities from the manufacturers and make bigger profits...

and according to you, is bigger always better, its apparant to me that you have no idea what your talkin about. The motor topology used in the mag is more expensive than the huge motors your used to seeing...

yea they went for bling, thats why it has a matte finish on the mag, the other basket has a candy finish that doesnt cost any extra so why not? It doesnt have any extra bling.
Seriously tell me how you can judge the performance of this driver when the only one that has been listened to in the united states is sitting in my basement right now?
When are the selling them and for how much?

I must admit, I am surprised to see this reaction.

show me where I bashed a product without a concrete justifiable reason, feel free to pm it to me, and keep the bs out of this thread as Ive cluttered it up enough for now

I knew it would be like this here, thats why it has been posted elsewhere, more toward the target market.

the mag is under 275 shipped, not sure on the bm, ill check and add it if i find it

Is it safe to assume the BM will be less?

I am just looking for a better alternative than the current shallow sub offerings. It looks to be similar in pricing but I feel it would probably perform better and if not, atleast I can PM the owner to figure out how to make it perform better.

the sub might perform really good but i dont think will surpass the current generation.... plus that looks will make customers buy other brands...
like for example will you take that bm or a jl audio tw5???

personally i will take the tw5

or

will you take that mag or a rd alpha??? lets make it easier an rd sonance?? or maybe a dc audio lv 5?? but if we are talking to true sq that mag vs a rl-s??? will you take the mag over all these choices??? all these models cost around equally and their class is fairly comparable.

no ofensse or nothing i know your close friends well thats ok is not of my business but sometimes looks can kill and you know it. so if their going with cheap chinesse imitations maybe a true chinesse subwoofer that can put the pyles or legacys that uses the same basket to shame... who knows.

this new mag does not need such a fancy sturdy basket, the "cheap chinese" will do fine. The new mag doesnt eat power like candy anymore so need for it to be so sturdy like the previous models. and with this new motor enclosed basket, Nick brought the mounting depth ridiculously shallow for a 1k watt sub while still keeping great cooling from what he described.

Subs seems great for an SQ person. and probably will prove that SQ doesnt have to be expensive($275 shipped is dirt cheap IMO)...of course install dependent.

SI's consumer base isnt for everyone. If you(or whomever) feel pyle is better just because it looks the same and is cheaper by golly go for it. but to those that know the difference will buy the mag. :p

there might be other subs out there in same class, but i havent seen the market flooded with these types of subs goals (shallow, small box req, using XBL^2 to maintain BL & conservative costs. )

yes I have the pricing saved somewhere i know it was decently less

looks to me i was right the new mag 275 vs the old 400-500

old mag had a lot of unnecessary sh!t on it(such big magnets, lots of chrome, dif coils) & built domestically, SI cut costs. You should be happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You weren't right on any of the reasons you stated for the lowered price, but you were correct that they are less expensive than before. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif The reason they're less expensive is because we are going direct. No more dealers. Direct pricing is the only reason the new drivers are less expensive. It actually costs more to build an XBL^2 equipped, enclosed basket subwoofer than it does to build a standard 12-spoke overhung or underhung driver.

The new Mag's are going to be $249 shipped and the BM's are going to be $149 shipped.

Woot WOot!

They just keep getting better and better. If only I could find the order button my finger would be waiting patiently over it to click when they are available.

Finally a killer sub that is actually install friendly, and with few compromises.
