What?? Do you doubt the Paradigm can sound as good just because they sell for a little more than half the price of the B & Ws.?? I know you love B&W speakers and their upper lines are probably some of the best sounding speakers I've ever heard. But their new 600s don't sound that good to me, PERIOD.

Paradigm don't sound bad. You are correct.

I understand you opinion of you don't like how the 600 Series sounds, but it is just shocking. Most places I read people think they are the cat's meow and better than the CM7, 700, and some of the 800 Series. (And I laugh).

So it is just a surprise. That is all. A few years ago I would have called you a son of a ***** or something like that. But, to each his own, and I have realized that I don't hear the same things that you hear.

What is important is that you enjoy what you have. Which I assume you are!

Actually, Paradigm two way boxes are nice. I however don't like their big towers.

I know what you're saying. I read a review about the 600s right in the listening room before I auditioned them. It did nothing short of saying they were all that and a bag of chips, or something like that. But low and behold I prefered the sound of the " pair a dijms" better. Pimarily in the vocals. They were much more clear with the digms.

But, to each his own, and I have realized that I don't hear the same things that you hear.

Personally, I'm not a tower speaker guy anyway. Primarily due to the fact that a nice pair of towers are NOT cheap and I couldn't justify their price tag in my mind. But yes, the Paradigm towers are ugly. That is all.
