New Setup

hey all,

I wanted to get some input on my new setup. Please feel free to chime in on any suggestions or concerns. Heres my setup:

2012 chevy impala

1/0 big 3 upgrade

4awg amp wiring

sound qubed Q1-1200.2 amplifier

FI audio SSD 12" dual 2 (bare bones)

ported enclosure 2.5 cubes at 32 htz

I'm still waiting for my sub to come in from FI audio. i plan on wiring it in parallel to achieve 1 ohm. so i should be running it at 1300-1470 watts based on the amp specs. it will be a daily driver.

good sub.. only things i'd suggest is maybe 2 ga or 0ga wire in case u add a 2nd amp or get a bigger one in 2 yrs.. and have u looked at new sq s 1250 amp it's cheaper and big blank here just tested the 2250 version and it did rated power..

yeah the new alpha is customizable (get the better spider and bp and flatwound options) it would work good on the 1200 or new 1250 (so would a fu 750 like mine they play deep and mine's not even tuned deep) the new 2250 would be good for the ssd and it may cost about the same as the 1200.2..
