new setup

well this is my firs system ive ever had its going into a 1997 honda accord 2door.

i ordered 2 12" kicker compVR 4-ohms which come in the kicker box and i also ordered an orion 600D (was going to get the 1200D at first but with the max power handling of my kicker enclosure at 600W RMS i realised it would be too much power)

i plan on running this setup @ 1-0hm and hopefully getting 300W rms to each sub

What are you used to when you say "pound hard enough"? The only person who can really measure that is yourself.

with the subs being in the kicker box its going to be more then likey that the subs will hit perfectly with the set up u are going to run but hey if its not buy a bigger amp and sell the amp on ebay!!

Those are great beginner subs. A buddy of mine had a pair of 15's for his first system in a sealed box (in the back of a buick) and those things got loud.

should be a good starter's budget setup. Might want to build a new box to fine-tune the sub's response to what suits you best. Good choice on the Orion 600D as well.

lol,, even though my enclosure is rated at 600watts RMS MAX ..?? 1200watts RMS seems like alot of power for that box, keep in mind im running off the stock accord alternator
