New setup- speakers, suggestions please

ok, i'm looking into to getting a setup ready for some competitions around here in the spring. Also, i just want my system to sound better than it is now. SO, i'm looking for some 5.25" components in the front!(i might even make the holes larger for 6.5" if that will make a considerable diff. in sound) also, some people feel no need for rear fill....but i still want something back there. The speaker locations are 5x7...but i'm def. not going with that...probably make them accomodate 6.5". Ne wayz, i'm kinda new to looking at comps...and rear fill(what should i do, just get 6.5" midbass??) Ne wayz, please suggest some comps for up front ~$150 price range(less would be better...) Also, i was looking at the adire Koda's....just the mid bass, how much are they??? and would that be a good thing for my rear locations or not?? they will be run off of a us acoustics USX4065. (4x65rms@4ohms, 4x90rms@2ohms) so, any help would be greatly appreciated from some experienced people. thanx, peace

edit: or should i get the usx2080 and save $40. then amp the comps up front, and run the rear off the HU...dunno how many watts it puts out though, old.

i'm kinda where your at.. i've got my old kicker rs6 and i dont really wanna go back to em.. but i dont have a ton of money... so here is what i was looking at.

mb quarts dsd 6.5s.. some people dont like the bright tweet but i have a 9 band crossover that i'll tone things down with... i was looking for some free air 8s to throw in the back... something that goes up to about 2500 range, like a little mtx 8 or something of that nature... i think that will fill in nicely.. then just a simple 4 channel at about 100 rms all the way around...

im not totally sure.. still trying to squeeze this 15 into the extended cab.. but we'll get to it soon.

k, thanx. ne other suggestions, any1 else. i like to have a coupla options, but do the koda's sound good for the rear fill....how much do they cost(just the mid). thanx, peace
