Brahma 12 or 15...?

If you want the extra low end the 15 gives you, then yes it's worth the $$.

It depends on what kind of music you listen to most. Like if you listen to all rap, the 15 might suit you better, but if you listen to techno the 12 would be better.

The specs are correct....if you have any questions, email Dan Wiggins with what sub you have, what amp you have, and what kind of box you want, etc. etc. and he will give you some specs for your setup.

12's for techno and 15's for rap??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif the only time i'll go with a 12 is if i'm strapped for space. other than that, the sound quality difference isn't really noticeable. SPL will go to the 15's.

I never said the sound quality would be different. But if all you listen to is techno which generally doesnt have the low end that rap does, why would you spend $70 more on a 15 when you get roughly the same output from a 12? And conversely if all you listen to is rap and you really want that low end, why would you want to get a 12 when you can get a 15? I was just trying to explain the difference in the low ends....

The average surface area of a 12" subwoofer is around 82 sq.in.

The average surface area of a 15" subwoofer is around 131 sq. in.

That's a difference of 49 sq. in.

That's about the size of a 10" subwoofer.

So having 1 15" is like having a 12" and a 10" when it comes to surface area.

Most people don't think that a 15 is that much bigger than a 12.

Also, it would take 4 8" subs to equal the surface area of 1 15" sub.

Just some intresting info. for ya.

they both have the same low end response, just the 15's are louder throughout the whole range. if there is more volume than you can handle, lower the gain. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
