I'm wondering which will sound best (both sq and spl) in a sealed box in a mustang. The amp will be a bxi1606.

I can get two alpine type r's for $254 shipped

The two RSD competition subs will be $314 shipped

Which will be the best performing subs for the money?

The Phoenix Golds will blow you away. I really like them. They get loud and sound good. And you could upgrade your amp later if you want more output. They could take more then its rated for.
