I spent 15k otd for my 08 spec5. I drove all the other cars in it's price range and I liked it the best.

Hyundai bought most of Kia and almost all the engine internals are Hyundai. You're not going to win any street races but I could care less. The Hyundai beta2 motor is bullet proof.

I love pulling up in my Kia and blowing the dudes system away parked next to me in a Mustang. They always burn off so they can still feel like a man.

I have a build log going but there is not much in it as of thew moment. I'm tearing down my old setup and going bigger and ported.

I'm buying my gear piece by piece so I can build a strictly spl system so I can go compete.

You would be surprised how loud I was getting off of 400@4ohms sealed.

So you had 10k in cash and you picked a Kia Spectra? They are ok cars, but if I had 10k, I would have looked more and seen what else I could have gotten.
Also why get so defensive when it does look like a chicks car and on top of it, you are giving it to your chick and you are getting a nice manly car IMO. Relax!

One thing I love is that the cops never take the time to take a second glance.

Using the E-brake prevents torque-lock. If you park your auto on a hill and don't use the E-brake, when you shift out of park it'll make a huge pop cuz the gears hae so much pressure on em. It helps to save the transmission.

Maybe. But to take out a fuel filter you have the take out the entire ****ing engine.

Who cares if I use the E-brake when its an auto. I live on a steep hill so its extra precaution. And yes I had 10 grand and bought a kia, so what?? It has a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty(10yr/100,000 is only for the original owner) and only has 9,000 miles on it. Not to mention it gets around 34 mpg highway. I just drove from PA to TN and only spent $70 in gas to get there. And its fairly easy to get these things loud

Thats funny cuz in the spectra's the fuel filter is built into the fuel pump
