is it true u have to wash your hands like crazy after u handle a turtle? my buddy had one and he always had us use his purell hand sanitizer after we played with his turtle.. and the scorpion is legal isnt it? i know here in san diego california ive seen them sell scorpions at PETCO..

i used to be really big into fish for about 5 or 6 years through middle school and high school. Just buy them some more fish. and take care of them this time. They're really not hard unless you buy really ***** fish like discus or angel fish.

get him some cichlids or barbs, those things are super hearty.

when i got sick of my fish tanks(i had 3 50gallon freshwater tanks and 1 100 gallon saltwater tank) i just stopped feeding my fish and cleaning my tanks, and 90% of the fish still lived for like another 4 months until I finally donated them to a store because I was sick of waiting for them to die.

get him some tiger barbs, cherry barbs, tinfoil barbs or green barbs. get 7 or 8 of those fish in a 25 gallon tank, and you'll have an active barb community that looks really nice and is easy to take care of.

yeah it's supposed to be really easy to get salmonilla(sp?) from turtles. It's always suggested to wash your hands immediately after you handle turtles or anything in the tank.

or you could get rats. me and my brother always have rats and you can hold em and play with em and stuff. you have clean out their cage once or twice a week though.

yea rats are actually awesome.. theyre better than hamsters cuz they dont bite like hamsters can and they like to interact with humans.. me and my ex had a couple of rats.. princess and daisy and they were actually pretty smart.. they recognized their own names and when we'd let them loose around the room they would hide and when we'd call their name theyd come out of hiding and interact with you.. but ots a***** cleaning up after their poop and stuff.. it became a pain so we had to take them to the shelter..

be a little different and get an African Pygmy Hedgehog. we had one for years, they make awesome pets. i used to catch grasshoppers and crickets for her to eat.
