It was a big tank with alot of pressure. It lasted for years, you could regulate it at a modderate ammount of pressure and it would probably blow for days. just guessing though.

Dude, your a dumbass.. that problem has existed forever. So you can blame it on Clinton, Bush, any of them.. it won't matter. The fact is, no 1 could of predicted that a hurricane of that magnitude would hit a major US city like New Orleans. I'm tired of people complaining.. if anyone actually gave a shit they would support their country & president in a time of need like right now

those so called "funds" would have probably made it as far as cunducting a study about what to do. The fact is things like that only last for so long, just like a man made lake is only predicted to last for a certain ammount of time. Unfortunately New Orleans was built against mother nature and was a disaster waiting to happen, its just no one knew when

in this case your wrong....look at the news for 10 min and you will see that they were expecting this....eventually....therefore they should've done something prior...though im sure it was on the governments " to do list" at the time

It was greater then 4' no more then 5' tall and was about 9" diameter. New it was filled to about 2800psi

well i read the paper and watch the news alot and thats all i see and hear so i have no real world explnation for this, as does neone else..

and im 50/ 50 on bush....but when i hear almost 1/2 the funds taken away it raises a red flag

They CAN'T predict where a hurricane is going to EXACTLY hit until a short day before hand.. and EVEN then it wouldn't give enough time to prepare for a hurricane of any magnitude..

Sure they were expecting it, but with too little time..

I do just as any other american does aswell.. I also read the paper, and watch the news.. daily? sometimes. I can't say where I stand on bush.. but when I hear people *****ing about him and how his faults made something of this magnitude happen.. it totally triggers me to be defensive, whether I like the guy or not.
