there will be more then enough complaints a year down the road when the city is back on it's legs

I don't believe that the Crescent City will be anything approaching 'back on its legs' on 9/1/06, unfortunately.

Yup, flakko, that's what it is. Where there once was homes, businesses, roads....is now all underwater. People in the lowest areas drowned in their attics trying to get away from the wet stuff.

Man this sucks. I know I am safe and far away from all of it but this all gives me a real insecure feeling that I know is doing the same to alot of people across the country. A feeling of helplessnes for the people of NO and also a feeling of how minute the human life really is compared to the rest of the world. I think I could handle being dropped off in the mountains all alone better then being there. It makes me want to pack up and go off in the middle of nowhere, build a yurt, and hide from the rest of the world. Way to sickening.

Anyone else feel like this?
