I do just as any other american does aswell.. I also read the paper, and watch the news.. daily? sometimes. I can't say where I stand on bush.. but when I hear people *****ing about him and how his faults made something of this magnitude happen.. it totally triggers me to be defensive, whether I like the guy or not.

word, but the keyword in many americans minds is that 44% that could've helped prevent this..that is all

predict no, though they knew it was going to happen eventually..so they should've taken that money to build up
im the sh!t, so yes i could...thats if half the poeple that lived there werent well below the poverty line and couldnt afford the basic housing and neccesity they needed to evacuate

Sure you could say it was going to happen eventually. But, IMO thats just like prediciting an earthquake. It could of happened when it did or hundreds of years later..

Alot could be said, argued of what could of done before hand..all of them are if's but the bottom line today is, our country was hit by a massive hurricane & all thats possible needs to be done.

I couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be in somone's shoes that lived down there atm. You would be at a total loss, no shelter/food/water I would go crazy! Well i'm out.. goodnight all

wow some of my posts were shitty last night..though i dont "blame" bush for this..it was just that the taken funds hampered the possible constuction of reinforcing the levee's.

also the army corp of enginers has been studying different ways to protect NO for a while now..it apperently hasnt worked...throwing those 3000lb sandbags is like putting one marble at a time in a 72gal aquarium till it fills. sh!tty analigy but..........
