I have a problem.. i can't decide on something... wanna see what you guys would be best.. i have a guy offering to give me a 50 inch DLP TV for 500 bucks.. i know with DLP later on you might have to replace the bulbs btw are these ok with playing Consoles on? but anyways or i could buy a 32 inch LCD TV brand new for 450 bucks... i just would hate to buy this tv from this guy and it go bad in a month or less.. its just so much bigger for almost the same price... any tv 50 inch is around 800-1500 in the stores new...

Go with the 32" for cheaper. It is newer, will last longer, and no matter which way you go the technology will be outdated in about 8 months...

Go with the cheaper alternative. The 50" is a great deal no doubt, but all things considered, The bulbs are good for about a year or two on most models, and thats $100 right there. Not to mention what I said earlier about technology being outdated. Wont be long before even LCD falls off the top.

I have a 60" Mistubishi DLP and it far surpases any LCD ive owned

The bulbs are only $100, which is nothing when you have to replace them every 1-2 years really. Mistubishi gives you your first replacement free.

I play my PS3 on it all the time, no burn in issues

I dont know about the RCA brand of DLPs but i know Mitsubishi and Samsung are two of the better brands

A new LCD will have one advantage that yoru DLP will never have. Viewing angle.

This is not true

you can sit at what you think would be a bad angle and it still looks good

of course you cant sit an extreme angle but thats the same with any tv lcd/plasma/dlp/crt

My 50" DLP looks much better than any plasma or LCD fro as much as double the cost. The only benefit IMO to the flat panels is that you can hang them on the wall which almost no one does anyway.
