CarAudio.com Newbie
Hey folks!
I used to be somewhat into car audio back in college, then over the course of new car purchases eventually took all my equipment out and never got around to installing again in the newest car.
However we had a car literally fall into our laps that would be perfect for my son who gets his license within the next year, a '98 BMW M3 w/399,000 miles on it. Yes, you read that right. He and I turned it into a really fun father/son project and have been doing all kinds of repairs and upgrades on it, including installing one hell of an audio system. We've been having so much fun with it that I convinced my wife to let me get my own, and I'm the proud owner now of a '99 M3 with 32,000 miles on it. I think we may own the highest and lowest mileage E36's at least in the state of MN, if not anywhere!
I'm going to be starting my own build very soon, hence I joined here as this seems to be the place where it's at! Looking forward to picking up ideas, tips, and knowledge.
