This was part of a payment for hooking up a backup camera for a guy. Many memories of these and I was thrilled to get it. It bench tested perfect and it's going on the highs and mids.

There was a local lot for sale of old school stuff and I told the guy about it who needed some of the kicker stuff. I saw the PPI in the lot and asked him about it after he bought the lot.

I had an A300 and A404 back in the day. I had the white ones and to this day wish I had never gotten rid of them. I let them go for a phoenix Gold M44, which is also gone. I ran three JL8w6's on the A300 and then 4 JL10's on the M44. I had a 93 S10 at the time. Memories...

Regular cab, shaved handles inside and out, fiberglass bed cover, blow through for the 4 10's, lowered to about 1 inch from the ground. Sold it to make closing on our first house. No regrets, just memories.

Ah, yup..know the feeling. My 1st real amp back in the early 90's was a Odin from Hifonics and the guy was selling all his stuff to buy a house as well. Luckily I didn't have to sell anything to buy my house....used the 0% financing deal. 30 Fixed Yr loan. Def not the ....um, can't even think of the proper saying, the financial meltdown back in 2009..

Thank you. I've looked up the numbers, but I am always willing to hear and learn more.

I plan on putting it on a set of PPI 6.5 components that I have waiting to go in. I've always been a sucker for PPI and JL.

dang, i bet that thing was a blast!! I hate GM products, but gotta love the custom jobs esp when done right!!

It was. The last time I saw it, it had been abused and was a mere glimmer of it's former glory.

Great amp!! Ive always liked that black series.Looks fairly well taken care of too.It should do very nice on those 6.5s. I still have a pair of PPI Edition..Special Editions A2075 and an A2050..I picked up from an old timer back in 94.Still work great and still look clean as hell. Picked up a pair of PPI P250s and a P275 last summer pulling out the system as pay for ugrading to class Ds.Took approx 2hours of my time with half BSittng,and cleaning up the wiring a bit..oh anda 12 pack blue moons:yumyum:

Well I traded the PPI off for a head unit. The PPI wasn't going to match the rest anyway, but it was nice to have one again for a minute.

I am still running a factory head unit/LOC and found a local guy that has a ton of stuff, old and new. He traded me a new Clarion CZ702 for it. I'm reading great things about it. 6CH/5V RCA, digital time alignment, and EQ. I'm very ready to rip out the factory head unit and LOC, but my oldest's graduation has me busy for the next week. At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel for me.
