New job ideas?

i'd stay with the job you have until you get your degree. looks better imo on a resume to have held a job for a long period of time instead of being a drifter. getting a new job just for car audio is a piss poor approach to getting a new job.

I dont think UPS pays their package handlers that much,

My friend works there and I've been told they get about 8/hr plus benefits.

I work @ fed ex, and make 10.50/hr w/o benefits.

Thats how it is in MI.

I'm 19, when I'm 21, im goin to try an become a truck driver, they make 800 or so a week. But definetely finish school:graduate:

Thats what I'm goin for, so I can eventually get a nice car to match a beautiful set up.

We got Kohls in FL, just not around here.
Ive heard UPS pays alot... Like at the distrobution centers to load trucks and what not. Ive heard its like 17-18 an hour, but we'll see. I think the closest UPS center is like 45 minutes away.

I cant believe ive only gotten a single "sell drugs" reply yet.

Oh, I dont wanna do anything online for a degree since im going to college right now. Im close to my AA then I think im going to the University of Florida...
i know ups doesnt pay that much. if you start, you might start a little under $9.

do you have any pc skills? you should look around for computer operator positions. i got a job a few months ago and i make $15 + another raise here in about a month. thats starting wage too. might be worth looking into.

i don't know if Kohls is a nationwide thing, as i haven't been down to florida to visit relatives in a few years, but they have a nightshift loading and unloading trucks that started at $11, and that's in michigan so you'd probably get paid more in somewhere with a better economy...
or you could always check out serving. if you don't look like a punk, or you could at least clean up nice, you get get a job bartending or serving at a middle to high class resturaunt. i worked as a griller in one of the 'watch them cook your stirfry' resturaunts and i was making $10 an hour plus about 45 a night in tips....

my sister was a server there, and she made around 200 a night on thurs, fri and sat.
i lived in florida for a short period and the wages are not better then in michigan, and add the fact that cost of living is slightly higher in florida. only difference is there are more jobs available in florida, but they don't really pay more

you also come to the right forum cause we have a lot of high rollers here, that make $18/hr delivering pizzas so i'm sure they can assist you.
lol remember the kid who put up fences and made 180K annually //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Why is getting a job for car audio a bad idea? I live at home and dont have any bills to pay... But I do have to pay for every last penny of anything else I wanna do for fun or hobbies. If anything, its just motivation.

Ive worked here at Winn Dixie for like a year and a half, took a break for a few months, then went back like 6 months ago. So ive been there for about 2 years now.

I would look into all of these computer jobs, but dont they need full time? I dont know if I wanna do full time as I need to concentrate on school.

I think I might go for a drive around town today and go ask some places if they are looking for help.
