New job ideas?

Well im getting really tired of my current job at winn dixie. Its a grocery story and I make nowhere near enough money... Only $6.79 an hour and they wont give me any hours at all. I only get 20 a week tops. Im making about $200 a week between work and doin stuff around my hours, but I need more money for my stereo... Ive been saving for the current one for **** near a whole year.

I really want a new job, the higher the pay the better and I wanna work like 30 hours or so a week.

Anyone got any ideas?

18 years old... Will be 19 in a few months. I still got other stuff to do also, like schoolwork and studying so I cant have anything too involved.

So find a nightime warehouse or security or hotel job. Walmart also has overnight jobs as well as sams.

Ill see what Walmart and Sams pays for overnight stuff... I got class 11-1:45 everyday, so if I worked until about 10 then went home and changed and went to class, I think things would be fine. I think it would be worth looking into.

Also, what kind of security jobs do you mean?

Hospital, mall, overnight business. By night time I mean overnight. Walmart and Sams night jobs are overnight start at 8-10 and end at like 4 or 5 am. You are restocking the store. Im sure youve been in there in the middle of the night and seen them doing that.

Ya, down here in New Port Richey theres nothing else to do late at night other than go to walmart and walk around...

I could definately do any stocking stuff, as thats what I do now.

When I had that job (for 2 days) I got paid 9.50.

i don't know if Kohls is a nationwide thing, as i haven't been down to florida to visit relatives in a few years, but they have a nightshift loading and unloading trucks that started at $11, and that's in michigan so you'd probably get paid more in somewhere with a better economy...

or you could always check out serving. if you don't look like a punk, or you could at least clean up nice, you get get a job bartending or serving at a middle to high class resturaunt. i worked as a griller in one of the 'watch them cook your stirfry' resturaunts and i was making $10 an hour plus about 45 a night in tips....

my sister was a server there, and she made around 200 a night on thurs, fri and sat.

We got Kohls in FL, just not around here.

Ive heard UPS pays alot... Like at the distrobution centers to load trucks and what not. Ive heard its like 17-18 an hour, but we'll see. I think the closest UPS center is like 45 minutes away.

I cant believe ive only gotten a single "sell drugs" reply yet.

Oh, I dont wanna do anything online for a degree since im going to college right now. Im close to my AA then I think im going to the University of Florida...

if your willing to work weekend nights become a waiter, okay money but the tips are key................i would seggest Black Angus (if they have them out there)
