those are very hot looking, where do they come from? the black and the chrome ones as well? are they like special editions?

no i guess JL decided to mix it up a bit. they really haven't changed the slash series since its came out 5-6 years ago. I went to a couple of local JL dealers to check it out and said they don't have the aluminum ones in stock and only have the black ones. the chrome ones are available too but there's an upcharge for em.
