First of all, the Mazda 323's licence plate circuit has enough power to give people a headache when connected to an amplifier!

We tied into the existing speakers to get a signal, and tied in to the licence plate lamp for power! We thought it was worth a try, although all the docs suggest that you might want to run a separate circuit for it, right from the battery. This required only about 10' of wire though, and the added bonus is that you can turn the amp on and off with the headlight switch. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif We haven't blown a fuse yet, or melted any wires. The lights on that circuit dim slightly in loud passages. It's hardly noticeable though.
