i am going to sell my 330i and i will give you a picture of my last install just so this thread has some pictures.
my next project is going to be a little less trunk intrusion. G35 sedan with:
DLS Ultimate UR35s 3 way Component set, with 5 1/4 midbass, 3" mid soft dome, 1" dome tweeter
DLS A4 4 channel amp, bridged to 4 ohm to power 2 channels for the above, about 260 rms per channel
DLS A6 mono amp. 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm
Solo X 10 in a ported box, not sure of the size, probably as small as possible just to retain trunk space. this is going for more of a sq type setup.
just got 44 feet of 2/0 guage welding wire for $3.07 a foot, not bad, pretty darn flexable also. I will be doing a single run of power and a single run of ground back to the trunk. my amps will probably be running about a max of 175-200 amps, i was planning on putting the largest battery i could find to fit in stock space up front, maybe a kinetic 1800, but do you think its really nessisarry with 2/0 guage and 200 amps to have a small battery in the trunk, like a kinetic 800?
here is my bassic scetch of my idea, the sub and box will be on the pass side of the trunk pushed against the back seat wall, the the amps will be mounted on the drivers side floor beside the sub box, im not looking for the best looking design, just something that will give me some trunk space left over.
let me guys know what other ideas you might have, or if you have a g35 and any ideas. i do not have the car yet, but i plan on it being a 05 with a 6 speed manual, mmmm
