New Install 06 Z06

i like it, only thing is at an angle, you can see the other layer of MDF under the amp. i would have painted it black. but its a nice install, i like the top cover panel over the subs and amps.

Like I said, I have to move the amps forward a little. I just wanted to snap the pics. The cutout isnt too big like it looks, its just the amps are just laying there, and arent screwed in, I have to move them up about 1/2", and you wont see any MDF.

I love the 8" speaker hole in the door. That was stock? Never seen anything like that. You could put some NICE 8" midbass in there.

they are actually 10" holes, the bose upgrade has a 10 there, the delco standard has an 8". He knew he was gonna have me do a nice system in there, so he went with the standard non nav, non bose stereo system. And thanks for the props guys, thats what makes me keep posting installs.

I like the install, but the owner is a complete retard IMO. I'll stop my self from going on a rant by simply saying that the guy's at GM didn't shave off ~300 some pounds from the base C6 for their health, they also didn't perfect the weight balance for that reason either. This tool does not deserve the car he bought, he should've just stuck with the base C6 and let a true fan be one car closer to having his prized Z06

but its a very nice install!

well just to let you know, the car is going for a 500 hp upgrade on monday. So weight isnt an issue. He wanted a zo6 to go with his AMG benz's that I have done as well in the past.

Adding a ton of weight to the rear of a performance vehicle does more than just slow it down. Oh well, most corvette owners don't know what corners are anyways.

The install looks great! What did you paint the baffles with?

a black spray texture coat. I believe it was SEM.
