New Idea for a sub box......Fiberglass!!!

I came across this on fiberglassforums.com, and want to do something similar to this. He did two 10's and had one up firing and one back firing. I want to do 3 12s and have then all facing the same way, which is forward. Here are some pics of his...

Now how I want to do mine is like this....

Its going to be a waterfall style console.

This guy said his box measured at a bout 2.5 cubes, so I figure mine should be at about 4 cubes. His box sat 12" from his back wall and mine is going to butt up against the back wall and it will also extend to the bottom of the rear window. This should more than sufficient room for 3 12s. What do yall think?

I was thinking that too. I am going to mock it out of cardboard and see if I can place the subs differently, if not, then I may have to do them down firing, which I hope I wont. Im sure it would sound good but I would prefer to be able to see the subs hitting too. Im prolly not going to start until next month. Money is tight right now. I have two CVR 12s right now and am still deciding whether to get another one or get some RE SE12s. Either way, my Planet Audio RXD1000 wont be able to power three of them properly.

I have did afew of these center consol setups. This one looks great, but the output on any setup like this is not as good as a rear setup.

If you do it, get BLACK tints.

That's just yelling "STEAL ME!!"

Especially the bright red paint.

Nice fabrication. But i would have it painted black, seems way to bright for inside the cab.
