I just bought my new setup yesterday! It came out pretty **** good.

TV - Sony KDS60A3000

Reciever - Denon AVR2308CI

DVD - Denon DVD1940CI

Fronts - Canton GLE409

Center - Canton AV7002

Rears - Canton PLUSXL2

Sub - Klipsch RW10D

Power - Panamax M5300PM

Cables - AudioQuest

Game - Xbox360-PS2/3

I got all of it from my work at a very nice price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The canton speakers are phenomonal for sound. But what I wanted to do next is a record player and I have about $300 more to spend. I'm not to sure whats good for that price or if there is anything good? But wanted some input. Thanks!

I'll also be hooking up an amp to this but it's on order. That'll also be used for the Zone 2 outputs which are going outside.

Where to find? Ebayz?

Hagerman Technologies has a website...http://www.hagtech.com, IIRC.

As for the turntable, you could do Ebay, but I'd try Craigslist first. This is something you ideally want to be able to see and touch before buying.

Musicians' Friend sells them new for $300, also.

That sounds yummy. Maybe I'll save up and look into it. I know your quite the home audio guy JimJ.

Is it true that some records don't have as good of lower frequency responses as a cd does?

Also what do you think of my current setup?

Given a proper mastering job, no...of course 78s aren't going to have a lot of low frequency material, it simply wasn't important back then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If it works for you, it works for you.

I'm not really into multichannel and pre-built stuff...but vinyl kicks *** anywhere //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah I'm the Custom Audio/Video Tech Support guy lol
We are always hiring especially in Electronic Service they are looking.

Why you live around here?

-Nick-
I actually live in IN but if I got a job there i'd be staying with a relative on the North Side of Chicago. WHat does Electronic Service do? BTW, you know if the salesmen work off commision or what? I've been there a few times and it looks like a bad *** place to work.
