New HiFonics, MB Quart, Maxxsonics Class D stuff any good?

I dont care what you say anything by Hifonics thats not old school Hifonics is garbage. The Brutus 1608D benched at 1200@1, over rated by 400 watts and puts out nothing but dirty clipped power. The only decent line by Maxxonics these days is MB Quart. To bad they had to sell out. They do have 1 amp I know of that does rated. The Crunch GPV3000d
OK 1200@1 ohm, at what ohm rise, i've noticed a bunch of amps being benched on here, and all are tested with starting ohms ( 1 ohms), and ohm rise, etc ( 2.3 ohm) but for the Hifonics they only state the starting ohms, not with rise calculated in, Why is that?? and some of you major name brands are tested at .5 ohms , trying to get close to the 1 ohm rating ( ohm rise calculated in)

Clipping at 40v, XX Goliaths dont do rated, etc. Have a read through there.

here's an example of a amp being tested at 1 ohms

Ratings :

2500 @ 1 ohm

1200 @ 2 ohms

600 @ 4 ohms

----------

Testing :

Wired @ 1 ohm

1690 Watts

21.4 Amps

78.97 Volts

3.69 ohms Actual

here we know the actual ohm rise, not just guessing

I'm confused. If the actual impedance was 3.69 ohms, wouldn't the amp be pushing the speaker to less than 1200 watts?

if you want a superb sound quality amp i have a arc audio 2500cxl and 2100cxl both class ab amps, both in great fully functioning condition the 2100 is stil sealed and the 2500 ive been usin for less than 2 months.

This is good to hear. I didn't mean to start a huge debate, but this is great hearing first hand experience with the products. I was interested in the MB Quart DSC1500.1D or the Hifonics HFi1500D. Both are within my price range just kinda comes down to personal preference I guess?
No problem at all.

There are always going to be people that don't like your choices and the ones that are most vocal are the ones that usually have no real experience with the product and simply live by the feud.

You have to decide what is best for you, your budget and I hope you choose our product.

If not, that's ok, there are a lot of good amps out there to choose from so best of luck.

I don't know gunz, i was just using it as an example of people not factoring in ohms rise when they benched there amps, without the equipment you just mention,
I was just bringing up one of my pet peeves where individuals state clamped power output numbers but fail to show that they used an oscilloscope to verify clipping and/or have absolutely NO way to show THD at their clamped rating. If the amplifier is truly outputting 1690 Watts at 3.69 ohms but is hard line clipping with a saw tooth wave on the oscilloscope OR has distortion in the 30% range, that isn't a very useful power number and it will sound like total garbage!

Class act man, that's rare around these parts.

Just take a look at what a mod did to my user name for example. Jeez.

So wait..... Are you telling me that your new equipment is equivalent if not better than the zed built boards of the past?

lulz....
maxxsonics didn't own hifonics or mbq back then, bro.

apples ≠ oranges
