Ok, hello everyone i am new to car audio, i basically been working under hoods of cars and just recently got into car audio. Here is my question..I have a box for 2 12 inch subs. I have 1 12 inch kicker l7 in there right now. I am getting another one soon. The box is not ported. One of my friends are telling me that my box is going to fall apart? is this true? here is a picture of the box in my car.

i have 1 l7 in there now. is the box bad for 2 12 inch kicker l7s?

number 2. what kind of amp do i need to power these two subs?

and will i need a seperate battery?

na.... its fine. The only thing that would make it fall apart is if you didn't use glue when building it. I wouldnt take audio advice from that friend anymore.

Make sure you buy a second 4 ohm DVC then. Dont buy a 2. You can either wire them in series or parallel. Depending on which way you wire, depends on how low your overall impedance will be. Make sure your amp can handle whatever ohm load you choose. rollerdj would have better advice on what amp to get.

really, just look around at amps. if u wire them at 1 ohm, and each sub needs around 750w rms, then you need a amp that will do around 1400w rms at 1 ohm. there are plunty around that will do that, it just depends on how much u wanna spend.
